Bass Fishing w/ Gear

Slayed some smallies on buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and 4" Yum Dingers today.  This summer I've been fishing gear a lot.  The old 6' medium action rod paired with 6 lb test mono has seen more action this year than in the past 15 years.  And, I've discovered that fishing gear can be every bit as much fun as fly fishing, especially for smallmouth.  A spinning rod enables me to cover a ton of water and fish spots that would be inaccessible with a fly rod.  You know what I like better than fly fishing???  Catching fish.
