Two Bucks

My dad shot this nice little 7-point on the third day of PA rifle season.  The deer was standing a few yards from the place where I shot my deer last year.

The .44 Mag did its job!

My friend TJ shot this very nice 9-point.  He assures me that it wasn't stuck between the two trees before he shot it.

Good work, and congratulations gentlemen!

Opening Day 2011

Despite seeing between 20 and 30 deer I didn't get a chance to use Ol' Betsy today.

However, I did get a very amateurish video of a deer that had the call to dooty!

And I got to hunt with my dad and brother.

There Are Pigs In Hell

Fished an undisclosed small stream this morning that supposedly held wild browns.  I was expecting to catch some of these...

But I wasn't expecting to catch one of these...

The surroundings were a beautiful bonus, and no other fisherman in sight.  Some hikers did look at me funny when they saw the gear, but that is what you can expect when you are hunting wild browns on small streams.
